Occupational Therapist
Born and raised in Union County, I became an Occupational Therapist in 2009 when I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana. I have worked with pediatrics my whole career: six years for Daviess County Public Schools and the last eight years (and currently) for Union County Public Schools. I love working with children because I am a kid at heart and, “get to play all day!” I am excited to bring my background and knowledge to EPT to assist families to help their children thrive.
Core Values:
I surround myself with loyal and dependable people and have a passion for learning. My faith is important to me and so is being around like-minded people. I am a firm believer in treating people with respect to get the same in return.

“It takes a big heart to shape little minds” – My Grandma
She used to say this to me when I first started working with pediatrics. It is a constant reminder for me that I have an opportunity to make a difference with every child I work with.
What’s Kristy Watching, Reading or Listening To?
Top 3 Movies:
1. Mr. and Mrs. Smith
2. The Lion King
3. All The Jurassic Park Movies
I grew up watching the Jurassic Park movies and enjoy sharing the love of the series with my son, Maddix. I enjoy listening to all genres of music and constantly have music playing throughout the day.
The greatest reward is the excitement I see when I teach a child a new skill. I believe children are the future, and if I can help a child and their family succeed, I want to give that gift back to the community that helped raise me. I want families to leave therapy sessions and know how to carry over skills at home to help their kids make progress across all settings.
One thing I love about my role at EPT is when a parent comes to a session and shares a success their kid had outside of the therapy session. That’s a win-win all around.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, love anything outdoors, have a new love for playing pickleball, watching my son play sports, and I love taking trips to the beach. A fun fact about me is I used to babysit Dr. Isaac and I killed my first deer when he took me hunting.
“I was happy to hear Ervin Therapy was offering pediatric occupational and speech therapy locally. Once my son started, it has only been positive experiences, and improvements are shown weekly from seeing Brittney and Kristy”
“OT has worked wonders for Ella. She is so much more independent and confident. She enjoys her sessions and after each visit we see growth.”
“We love Mrs Kristy! She’s been a huge staple for helping our son begin to overcome some challenges along with educating us on how to help him at home. He’s always so excited when he hears he’s going to see her.”
